At Kilimanjaro Distillery, we’ve always loved exploring new ideas. But every now and then, you create something that feels like the one. For us, that was Xplorer Peanut Butter Whiskey, the signature spirit and heart of the Xplorer brand.

Our family has always believed the best moments happen when you take the road less traveled. As a family-run distillery, we’ve learned that innovation works best when it respects what already works.

When we set out to create our peanut butter whiskey, the goal was simple. We loved the idea, but felt the category was missing real whiskey character and balance. Make one that both whiskey drinkers and newcomers would genuinely respect.

We obsessed over the peanut character too. To get the depth we wanted, we built our profile around peanut notes drawn from American, Indian, and African peanut varieties.
​
The result is a pour that surprises you on the first sip and makes you smile on the second. Smooth. Warm. Familiar, but refined. Approachable without being sugary, layered over real whiskey character. The kind of drink that sparks conversation and leads to a second, or even third, glass.

And the bottle reflects the same mindset. Unconventional. Purposeful. Impossible to ignore.

Meet the Xplorers
Every journey begins with curiosity - a desire to explore, create, and connect.
At Xplorer Spirits, that curiosity runs deep within our family. What began as one man’s fascination with science, craft, and possibility has evolved into a shared mission to create exceptional spirits that capture the essence of discovery.
Kishor, our founder and master craftsman, began his journey in Tanzania, where his family spent weekends giving back to local communities. Those early lessons in purpose and opportunity shaped a lifelong pursuit of learning - from earning his Doctor of Medicine degree, MBA, and pilot’s license to mastering the art of distillation. At Kilimanjaro Distillery in Allentown, Pennsylvania, he brings that same curiosity and precision to every small batch, blending science and artistry to create spirits of true distinction.
Niky brings a global perspective and a passion for connection. Her work across continents in global health and social entrepreneurship has taught her that collaboration and compassion can change the world. She ensures that Xplorer’s mission extends beyond what’s in the glass - supporting initiatives like the Tanzania Water Project and Meals on Wheels Pennsylvania to give back to the communities that inspire us.
Nelson carries the story forward with his deep belief that great brands are built not only through quality, but through connection. With a passion for people and an explorer’s mindset, he brings the Xplorer experience to life - sharing our award-winning spirits with new audiences and fostering relationships that turn every pour into a shared adventure.
